Jet Technologies launches first Bio-Plastics Coffee Packaging

Jet Technologies has today launched the first high-volume bio-plastics coffee packaging solution in Australia. This is the first-time Australian coffee manufacturers are able to present their coffee beans in packaging that is fully biodegradable, but still strong enough to protect the quality of the product.

Nestlé aiming at 100% recyclable or reusable packaging by 2025

Nestlé today announced its ambition to make 100% of its packaging recyclable or re-usable by 2025. Its vision is that none of its packaging, including plastics, ends up in landfill or as litter. Nestlé believes that there is an urgent need to minimize the impact of packaging on the environment.

New Envi 96 Label from Monadnock

Monadnock Paper Mills, Inc. (MPM) in the USA has introduced Envi 96 Label. Envi 96 Label is a high performance, brilliant white, Forest Stewardship Council Certified, wet strength label stock ideal for beverage and other consumer packaged goods labeling applications.

Sappi Seal comes to the market

In 2016, Sappi was the first manufacturer to launch a packaging paper with integrated sealing functionality. This packaging solution generated a great deal of interest in the market and has gradually been developed further. Now Sappi is introducing Sappi Seal to the market, the second generation of this flexible packaging solution with improved sealing properties, which is also recyclable.

Ricoh named as MPS provider for Shell.

What must be a major win for Ricoh is the news that the company has been selected as the exclusive managed print services provider for Shell. As part of the agreement, Ricoh will support managed print operations of Shell in 98 global locations including deployment of Ricoh’s Streamline NX, Device Manager NX and Mobile Printing software.
